Crispy Prosciutto di Parma

We all know and love Prosciutto di Parma but have you tried it…crispy!? We have, and its life changing. From using crumbled crispy Prosciutto di Parma on top of soup to mixing it into your favorite bowl of popcorn, the options are endless. Use larger pieces of crisped prosciutto as your bacon upgrade. Did we also mention you can crisp it in 30 seconds in the microwave? Now that’s what we call upping your game.

  • Thinly Sliced Prosciutto di Parma

Crispy Prosciutto in the Oven

  • Place slices in a single layer on a wire rack or parchment on sheet pan.
  • Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 10-12 mins.
  • Transfer to paper towels to let cool.
  • Chop or crumble.

Crispy Prosciutto in the Microwave

  • Place one slice of prosciutto between two sheets of paper towel
  • Microwave on high for 30 seconds
  • Remove from microwave and discard paper towels
  • Let prosciutto stand. Prosciutto will continue to crisp up when standing
  • Chop or crumble.

Crispy Prosciutto in an Air Fryer

  • Arrange prosciutto in single layer in air fryer basket.
  • Cook at 400F for 7 minutes or until prosciutto is crispy.
  • Transfer prosciutto to paper towel and let cool.
  • Crumble and enjoy!

Add to mayonnaise or softened butter for a flavorful spread.

Mix into pancake or corn muffin batter

Add to grilled cheese or top a burger.

Stir into scrambled eggs or top an omelet.
