This recipe is ideal for a quick grab-and-go snack or impromptu appetizer – your guests will think you spent hours in the kitchen. Don’t worry, your secret is safe with us. A modified caprese on a stick with peaches, apples, basil, prosciutto and mozzarella – what could be better?
Ingredients
- 18 fresh basil leaves
- 18 fresh mozzarella balls (mini)
- 9 slices Prosciutto di Parma, cut in half
- 2 medium apples, sliced
- 2 medium peaches, sliced
- Olive oil, for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 9 skewers
Instructions
Take a skewer and thread one basil leaf followed by one mozzarella ball, half slice of prosciutto, one apple slice, one peach slice, one basil leaf, one mozzarella ball, and one-half slice of prosciutto. Repeat process for remaining skewers. Garnish the tops with olive oil, salt and pepper.
